I have had a boyfriend for almost 2 years. 3-4 years ago i met an american man on holiday and ever since he went back to america we have spoken every day for the last 3-4 years just as friends. We have told eachother that we have feelings for one another and that if we lived close we would be together again, he knows that i have a boyfriend but recently we have been alot closer, i know we can't be together because he lives at the other side of the world, but i can't stay with my boyfriend if i feel like this about another man. what should i do???

First, you need to kill the friendship. Then you need to ask yourself if you love your boyfriend and if this was just a greener grass moment. If you feel like you no longer love your boyfriend, leave him.

Be sure about what you will lose if you give up tour bf for the fantasy of what could be . You haven't been with this guy on a daily only spoken so you get his best side . You don't know what irks him or you as you haven't been together on a daily bases to see this
