Question - (7 February 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 7 February 2009)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I asked my crush if he liked me and he said no and that he was about to go out with my best friend. I got mad at her and him and now at school I told 3 of my closest other friends that I had a boyfriend that lived in Canada and they believed me which was good, but I feel bad lying to them and I think that they will find out and hate me and I won't have any friends.

Simple, say you had a row with your boyfriend, that you have split up and you are now single and ready for someone new.

Tell them you aren't that bothered about the break up because he was in Canada and you had pretty much just become friends anyway.

Then change the subject to finding a NEW boyfriend and all your options or just say you are just happy being single.

At your age, being single is best anyway because although you may be ready for boyfriends, all the guys around you are immature idiots who have no clue what to do or how to behave.

Good Luck!! xx
