The problem is that my ex-boyfriend texts me all the time asking for sex and even when I say no, he suggests other things like oral sex or sexual contact. I keep telling him that I won't cheat on my girlfriend but he just goes in a huff and when we decide to be friends again he starts suggesting that I cheat again. How can I convince him to stop pestering me without losing our friendship?

 Don't answer his texts or calls when he talks or asks specifically about sex. Or you're going to have to get firm and tell him off so that he'll get the idea. Does he not have other women he can make booty calls to?

reader, anonymous, writes (2 December 2010): just keep sticking to your guns! no matter what he says, say no. I suppose you could just ignore him for a while and see if he stops... or, if it gets reeeally bad, report him for sexual harrasment!
