reader, anonymous, writes (19 April 2008): He can not tell you what to do. If he really dose not want you to spend money than why don't he take you and pay for stuff. Is he jelous? If so that only gets worse dump him and be carefull that you don't get into a fight with him do it over the phone. Jealous men can be dangerous be carefull. and God bless

 Dont miss out on saying goodbye to your friend for a guy who's gonna be history soon! If you're planning to dump him soon then it would be silly to let him make a decision like that for you. I do think he's getting mixed signals though. I bet you did that thing that I do lol. "No matter what I say or do, no matter how much I beg and plead and shout DO NOT let me spend any money!!" then it comes down to it and it does your head in when he actually does what you begged him to do.
But to answer the question, if you're gonna dump him anyway, who cares what he thinks about you going out with your friend? If you dont go out you'll regret it in a few months when you didnt get to say goodbye to her because of that guy that you used to go out with.
