writes:My boyfriend just bought a new house and never once asked me what I thought about it. I have 4 animals a dog and three cats, he also has a dog. Now he is alregic to cats and I can't see us living together at all. He never asked me to move in so I don't think he wants me around. To be honset I do love him but I'm getting so bored of waiting around for him to step up and ask me. He knew I wanted to move bc I'm not happy being where I'm at the moment. I don't know what to do I feel confused. I don't know why he would buy this dumb house anyways. My question is should I tell him I'm not waiting anymore and move on with my own life? Or stick around and see what happens?

Since he did not discuss the purchase with you perhaps he does not see you in his long term plan?
Maybe you would be better off finding an animal lover, who is not allergic to cats, and who does not mind your growing menagerie of animals?

When i got my third kitty he wanted me to keep it. I didn't want to but nobody wanted him so i got another cat. I have a hard time talking to my bf because when we do talk he thinks i get upset and want to fight. I guess i just can't win. Thanks for all the advice.i

reader, anonymous, writes (26 April 2011): Well if you moved in you'd want your cats to come too which wouldn't be good for his health and having 3 of them round would be more than an inconvenience if you're that desperate to move in with him ask him if you got rid of ur cats would he let you move in
