A male United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I met a girl about 6 months ago. When I first met her we talk on facebook a lot and I helped her through her problems. About 2 months later we became friend, in fact she became my bestfriend and I became her bestfriend. We always hang out here and there. Soon she became the best person in my life and I became the best person in hers, but she was never really open to me I never really knew the reason why.

Yesterday we got into an pretty serious argument and I kind of felt like everything changed between us. Less trust everything is falling apart. So today she finally told me what was wrong. She was mad yesterday and I got her even more mad by changing the subject and kind of cutting her off. She told me that the reason why she was not open to me is because I always cut her off and Always talking about myself and always focus on myself.

I got hurt and I feel stupid because I realize that I was the one that been giving her stress and always get her mad. I want to change so badly and give her more attention and want to focus more on her and balance everything out. She is not a very talkative person so I wouldn't know where to start, but I know that I have to make a change if I want her to be in my life still. Our friendship seems to be going down hill.

Now she is mad at me and starting to look at our friendship differently, like she is losing trust in me, how can I redeem myself?

I love my bestfriend a lot I don't want to lose her at all.

Any advice?
