I have one more year in school,i should graduate in the fall of 2011, and within one or two months of graduation i plan to move to mexico with my boyfriend. what we want to do is get married here in court and then have a church wedding in mexico because i feel it would be cheaper and easier for my family to come to mexico for a wedding. So i was looking online and there are so many documents that i need and even if we do get married here in the courts it might not be recognized in mexico, so would it be better to get married both places in court and also have a church wedding in mexico? also, any suggestions about beautiful simple wedding rings?

Fatherly Advice agony auntWell, I haven't a clue on the legal issues of marriage in other countries. But I am a big fan of simple rings. Maybe too simple to be "beautiful" in your eyes. I like a traditional gold band. 6mm or 1/4"wide with a milled edge. Go for the comfort curve inside. There is no question with this ring. Anyone who sees it knows right away that the wearer is married. Which is what the ring is for really.

Personally I'm wearing a tungsten ring with lots of glittery facets. It was inexpensive and my wife likes it. For years I didn't wear a ring due to working with machinery. This one is cheap enough to replace if it gets broken. Also it is very scratch resistant.

If you are looking for a little less simple look around online. Weddings are big business there are plenty of ring sites.
