writes:hey guys!just wanted to ask you a simple question: am i weird just because i'm turning 19 and i never had a boyfriend, not even a date or a kiss...??? cause i really feel lonely and that i'm missing something in this world. i feel that at my age is the perfect time to meet someone and build a serious relationship and think about the future, but at this rate i'm not even gonna have the future i always dreamed of!!!! my friends all have boyfriends, or at least gone out with some guys..compared to them i'm ashamed of myself! i don't have any experience in this subject and i'm afraid that if i ever find someone i'll be stupid or i make a fool out of myself :( this is just depressing ...i'm a freak :'(

 Please do not consider me unkind for suggesting that you give a guy a chance to take you on a date. There is no way for me to know the local circumstances, but I would think that some fellow may be as lonely as you, and may just need a little encouragement. In any case, you are still very young and should not consider your future "missing." Trust me, you have plenty of time for love and so much more. Be patient and your time will come.

...lb... is verified as being by the original poster of the question well thanks for your advice guys! but to whoever told me why don't i just try it out, its not that easy! i've never really been asked out by a guy whom i like and i'm not up to the idea of asking guys out, i'm too shy.
you see, i don't really consider myself as an ugly person not even pretty,but i'm just not like other girls..i'm curvy. sometimes i just put that as an obstacle of why guys i like never seem interested in me.
....and yes i know i can wait because love has no rush but the fact that i NEVER had a relasionship really puts my self esteem down, as i said before it makes me feel ashamed, worthless, ugly, stupid, and the list goes on and on.... -.-

Don't be ashamed of yourself, there is nothing at all wrong with you, you just haven;t found the guy you ahve wanted to get into a relationship with. I know how lonely it can be and how you feel as though there must be something wrong with you, but there isn't anything wrong with you. If you want to try dating, then go ahead and give it a try. It's not easy I know, but I am sure that someone will come along and you will have a relationship. You will have the future you dreamed of.I went through the same as you are now, I do understand, I can tell you from experience that the right guy will come along and he will be worth the wait. You are not a freak, you are a beautiful woman. Good Luck finding your prince
