I Met This Guy And Knew Right Than I Liked Him We Hooked Up And Have Been Hanging Out Ever Since He Claims He Likes Me But Says He's Emotionally Unavailable Because He Has A Kid With His Ex. His Friends Call Me His Old Lady And He Doesn't Say Anything About It But Yet We're Not Together. He's Still All Flirty With Me And I Just Don't Know What To Do. I Really Like This Guy And Kinda Gave Up My Kick Of 16 Months Of No Sex To Him. I Just Don't Know What To Do Its Like Were Dating But Were Not. Someone Help Please!

A reader, anonymous, writes (23 June 2008):

I suggest you be very carefull here; yes, I agree with you it can get confusing and us women do get emotionally involved sometimes even if there are red lights flashing;

BUT, you have to be very carefull; this guy warned you that he is not emotionally available; you are taking a very big risk in hoping that things might change; no matter what his friends are saying; he is not saying it; in fact he is not even reacting to what they say; vow, I honestly think you must take it very slow; don't read to much in his friendship and as for sexually getting involved; I suggest discuss it with him; if you are not in a committed relationship, don't have sex with him; you are going to get hurt; Friendship with Benefits; it never works; NO, either he commits to you or I suggest, no benefits;

If there is no commitment from him; just be his friend and start dating other guys.

Good luck!
