Is this twitching normal???

Question - (16 January 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 16 January 2010)
A female Australia age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Is it normal for the area around your vagina and labia to "twitch" every ten or so seconds after coming close to orgasm? I only started masturbating a few years ago and have never orgasmed before. I come relatively close (or so I assume) but my body sort of shuts down the pleasure before I can climax and I am left with this twitching feeling for twenty minutes...

A reader, anonymous, writes (16 January 2010):

Well hun, I don't know about it doing it before you orgasm or "climax" but when I orgasm everything kind of around that area twitches or shakes including my leg so it may be you are having very small orgasms but not realising?

hope this helps
