reader, anonymous, writes (15 May 2009): you obviously have your reasons to doubt this child's paternity so yes please get a DNA test done. i am sure your wife will be upset but what needs to be done, needs to be done.
too many men are finding out that women are passing off kids as theirs when the kids are actually being fathered by others.
if in doubt, get a test done. rather be sure than be in doubt and making that child's life miserable.

No matter what anyone on here or anywhere else can tell you, you will not, and SHOULD NOT, be sure until a test confirms it.

 I don't know.....I think more info is needed, but you are obviously in doubt. Only one way to remove all doubt, and thats to do a paternity test.
Look at it this way. If it comes back with the result that you hope(i.e. your child, you can put your suspicions to rest, unless you feel there is more to it)
Worst case scenario is that the paternity test comes back and another man is the father,,,in that case I would be packing her bags.
