Is this a good long term method to desensitize the penis?

A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I read somewhere that for uncircumcised/sensitive penis a remedy to desensitize it is to expose the head of the penis (or glans) for by pulling the foreskin back, for long period each day for several days (or even weeks).

Say I pull my foreskin and "tuck it" into my underwear where it will rub against the fabric.

Dont listen to these people who have no idea what you are talking about. I have been trying the same thing and so far its been workin great. Im sure everyone is diff but my sensitivity went down to minor discomfort in just a few days and sex was def. better. Don't know if there are any medical issues, so far I haven't had any.

A reader, anonymous, writes (17 May 2011):

The best way to desensitize your penis is to wear a condom. The anal condoms are great for that as they're thick. There are also condoms with a special lube that desensitize the penis and you can buy that in cream form in any sex shop.

The method you're describing will just give you boners all the time. Because you're just going to have the fabric of your pants rub it all the time, so have fun wearing shorts wet with precum all day while you try and rearrange your knob so as you can walk straight with your constant boner.

person12345 agony auntThat sounds like a terrible idea. I mean I don't have a penis, but why would you want to desensitize yourself?! The only way you can last longer is to practice during masturbation.

hannah76 agony auntHello,

I'm just wondering why you would want to do this? For what reasons? Both circumcised and foreskin penises are perfectly adequate for any girl!

adamantine agony auntHah yeah why would you want to de-sensitise it?

If you're hoping to last longer in bed, the only way is practice/masturbation/concentration.

But I wouldn't know, I don't have a penis...
