is there anyway you can get pregnate after you have unpretected sex, when you get your period 2 days later?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (10 December 2008):

to the anonymous poster below, how can you have a go at the poster for bad spelling and then write "haveing", "condome" and "allways".??

but, i agree with all of the other answers, you should not be having unprotected sex at any time of the month (unless you are TRYING to have a child), because there is always a risk of getting pregnant.

I agree that your immaturity regarding sex is shocking, but anonymous needs to get his facts right. It is estimated that little over 1 million people in the USA are HIV+, as opposed to 25%. Where on earth is he getting his facts from?

Sorry babes, I needed read more carefully, if you have had your period two days later than it's unlikely that you are pregnant. Please read carefully the information from the website I gave you, and learn all about sex, pregnancy and the dangers of disease. You are too young to be having sex, because you don't know how to protect yourself.

What kind of crap is that nurse teaching you. That woman is stupid, tell your mum what she told you and get her sacked from her job.

You can get pregnant when your on your period, you can also catch a STD. The only way to be sure that you don't get pregnant or catch a sexual disease is not to have sex. Condoms are the next best thing. They protect you from both pregnancy and sexual disease. NEVER, EVER have sex without a condom, unless you are with a partner for a least a year and you have both been checked by a doctor. HIV and Aids can kill, syphilis and herpes are hard to treat.

Please contact your nearest branch of planned parenthood http://www.plannedparenthood.org/ and get more information about sex and pregnancy, before you even consider having sex, and tell that stupid nurse she needs to get herself a new job, cause she is an idiot and is to dangerous to be telling young teenagers anything.

yes. although there is a small chance that not all of it would have gone out. sperm can stay inside you for upto 1 week. i'm 14 and have a 1 year old. it is hard so use protection next time. this isn't coming from a 40 yr old it is comin from a teen mum andi don't want you to go through what i went through.
