writes:HI I used like to this guy and I told him when I told him he never told me if he likes me or not. Then a month later he rings me up and tells me that he likes soem girl for a year and half, this girls feels the same but she not ready to move on. He been tellign em how much he likes her and how he started drinking because of her. He rings me every night saying he depressed. He also said to me it feels like I dont need a girlfriend when I have got her becuase I talk to her in the night and evrything. My point is that when I told my mate she goes the girlhe talks to every night is you. He also recently has been asking em for help/favours and I have been helping him. Does thsi mean anything?He ahs also said to me 'any guy who gets you will be a very lucky guy and that you are an absolute star' what does this all mean?Whenever I am with him he hardly talks I have to do the talking but on the phone he talks more and when were in a group of 3 or 4 then he talks more but when he just em he doesnt talk. What does this mean?Does he like me?

He's just being abstract about it, which is rather clever, don't you think?
I'd say he is protecting himself from a possible disappointment, in case you don't feel the same way he does.
He also could be a creative kind of thinker, which makes him very interesting.
It sounds like he is interested in you, by the way he says - "Any guy who gets you will be a very lucky guy". I think that says it all, don't you?
The next time he says that, say to him - "Oh, do you?"
This leaves it open for him to say lots more to you. It will encourage him to be a bit more out there with you.
