writes:My ex-boyfriend of over a year has this new girlfriend who has been flirting with him since him and I were going out. I also moved on and am dating someone else. Since I started going out with my new boyfriend, she has been telling my ex not to talk to me, she clings on to him at school when im there and kisses him then looks straight at me, and shes been telling people to try to piss me off. Im usually not the violent type, but this has really been astonishingly immature. Besides, were almost 18. Is she just jealous of me or what?

 I don't know if she's jealous of YOU so much as she is uncertain of her position in her new boyfriend's (your ex's) life. Reasons unknown. Maybe she doesn't think she's as attractive as you. Maybe she thinks he still has feelings for you.
Her behaviour is definitely offside.
It might throw her off her game if you were kind to her. She's expecting a nasty response so she won't see this coming. It might actually guilt or shame her into smartening up and it would alleviate tension between you both.
