A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Hey,

I Had this friend that I could really relate to, even though I was in denial about that. We went outto China White and other beautiful clubs...

We fell out at as I felt she was always jealous of me and allowed her friends that fancied me to spike my drink.

She always insisted on paying for everything even when I insisted and felt annoyed at her because I felt that this was due to alterior motives.

Her family welcomed me or so it seemed...But there warmness fluctuated after they moved to a better house. Believe it or not. She tried to introduce me to a 'rich guy' as she put it, and I said no! I wanted love.

Next thing I know 'm spIKED.! She denies evrything.

Now , I'm wondering if I should have remained friends with her as We once to a out as usually and she picked up a random guy, and appernntly she tried ton blame me without saying so....even tho I protested him. Do you guys think it was a set up?

What are you on about?

All I was saying that was drink spiking is very common so it could have been anyone, not just your friend.

Are you saying you have CCTV evidence of what she did? If so why are you here asking about it?

I think it's clear that you have some kind of paranoia problem and should seek help for it. You sound very confused and I'm sorry we couldn't help you.

Good Luck!! xx

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

They were alchoholic beverages, Shawna.

Ask Sweeney, Do you believe anyone has the right to put anything in any type of drink? Alcholic or soft drink...it would have an effect and it is wrong.I take no blame for it. Thanks nevertheless for the concern.

Emily, She didn't have to go to any trouble. I left my drink with her to go to the bathroom.

I'm glad you stated people get spiked in the UK every day ( whatever that's suppose to mean or imply) but next time you go out should you get spiked,

I hope you have a cctv installed to capture the act,a voice recording of the evebts leading up to the spiking and oh ye let's not forget a tangible concise hard as nail chronology of exactly what was going on at the time you're in a trance.

Be careful what you say because karma comes back around...never say never or you'll would regret it! Thanks never the less it show the type of mentality you have,,,would a corpse be a hurtful enough result for you?

Pls don't reply on my page...if you want start a discusssion on your own page. tk cr ok.

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (11 August 2008):

It's a very strange conspiracy against you. She'd have had to go to a LOT of trouble to get everyone to play along just to get you unsure whether it was her or not.

If I was going to that much trouble I'd want seriously hurtful results, not some vague accusation.

Lots of people get their drink spiked every day in the UK.

If your friend ship seems to be defined by money and you don't like it then stop seeing this girl. It doesn't seem like a healthy relationship anyway.

Good Luck!! xx

superrrshawna agony auntare you sure her friends spiked your drinks? maybe you are just a light weight who cannot handle alcohol, if they were alcoholic beverages... you didn't specify.

the way you describe her, you aren't a fan. so just allow the friendship to dwindle. next time she invites you out, find a way to be conveniently busy. don't have any awkward confrontations... they usually don't end well.

and as my best friend likes to say "shawna, try to never burn bridges!"
