writes:Im 14years old,and I have a 16year old cousin,a boy.When we were little as a usual bunch of kids he'd tease me,laugh at me,and make me cry.When I grew older,I've noticed he started acting different towards me.He began giving me hugs,and saying how much he missed me,coz I was gone for 3years when I went to another country.For straight three nights,we slept in my grandmother's house,and he slept beside me.And he was really like...so gentle and stuff.On the second night,he stared into my eyes and then he took me close and kissed my lips.After,I asked him why he did that,he said he didn't know,and that he's confused with what he's feeling.I even learned later on that I was his first kiss!What does this mean?does this mean he's in love with me?But he knows the fact that im his cousin.And what's more he has a girlfriend,which complicates things.

reader, anonymous, writes (2 February 2009): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionHey there!Um to the guy who said that my grandmother was irresponsible,I deny to accept that,coz it was my grandfather's funeral that took place in her house,and basically I was sharing the bed with 6 other cousins,who were sleeping.To those who can relate to my situation especially the guy who said he's 18years old..well,I do feel the same way for him,which I just realized just recently....Thank u for all the answers!:-)

reader, anonymous, writes (19 January 2009): Hy there!Even though i am a boy, i know how you feel...i had a similar situation with my cousin.I didn't see her for a long time(in fact we grew up in separate cities)than she came to my place for about a week and the last two nights...well... we kissed. i mean a lot! I am an 18 year-old boy,and trust me,this was my FIRST kiss too!!And now i am absolutely convinced that i am in love with her.But let me tell you: i am very sad and depressed because of this situation. :( This happened about 6 months ago and i still love her like then.She has a boyfriend now,but what can i do? -nothing.So you say your boy cousin kissed you...well i guess he felt something towards you.I mean,from my experience,kissing someone on the lips means love.But what do i know. But do you feel something towards him? because than it is even more complicated.If you would like more detail about my situation and probably some help,reply to your question and mention my article,i will see it and talk some more. ;) Hope to be of help.

She left for uk for 2years. And i started missing her, it turned love. I grew up , so did she. Now i was mad for her missing her . And she returned, i love her like anything.she s my first kiss. My first n probably last love. She s my cousin. :-)

reader, anonymous, writes (31 December 2008): First, I'd say it was very irresposible of your grandmother to allow the two of you to sleep together, that's asking for trouble of one sort or another. I can't imagine what she must have been thinking of.
At your age you're turning into a young woman and you're no longer the little girl he liked to tease and make fun of. He's noticing the difference in you, and whether you were his cousin or someone else his actions would most likely be the same. At his age his hormones are playing him up, and he's getting the urge for sex on a regular basis - probably every ten minutes or so. Putting a female in the same bed as him in that state is like putting a bowl of chocolates in the dog's bowl and telling it not to eat them.
Does he love you? Possibly, but it's more like basic instincts taking charge. His little head is trying to overrule his big head. His big head is telling him it's not exactly right or legal or moral which is why he's confused.
If this situation were to arise again, difficult though it may be, you have to make it clear that you need to sleep in separate rooms because you're getting to be a big girl now and you don't want to put temptation in the way of either of you. If your grandmother can't grasp that, she needs to take a reality check.
