A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

so i am texting this guy friend of mine and he say, "can i ask you a question?" i say "sure" then he say, "do you or any one you know like me?" then i say "as a friend or more?" he says more. then i say," you are not my type, but you are a really great friend. would you like me to check around to see who does?" he says sure. so then i tell my mom about this and she thinks that he wanted to find out if i liked him because he may have liked or may like me. does it seem like he does?

P.S., You shouldn't of texted him the part about him not being your type. I would have called him. He could be really sad that you don't like him, but hiding it.

Well I would agree with your mom he most likely was trying to see if you liked him.
