My dear, that is where your real concern lies. Count yourself as dating him when you move to where he is and don't count on it now because things change very quickly at his age and in college. This girl you know will be a moot point once you get out of highschool and live in another town. She will be the girl he once dated before he dated you and a few others and even others while in college.

 Is that the reason why you have kept it under wraps for fear of her finding out. As long as they parted amicable and he's still not seeing her, then you arent doing anything wrong. Why don't you let her brother know and see how the land lies, see if he will let his sister know, then once it's out in the open it won't matter who knows after that.
