My boyfriend, of 3 years came by my flat one night after work, and i was horny so i put on a dvd and was having a great time, but when he came in he started shouting that what i was doing was wrong and that only guys should watch porn. We're watched it together and that really turned him on, i just don't get why he would be so upset about me watching it. Any idea's? Thanks.

Why is it that nearly every woman who posted thinks that it is completely wrong for men to watch porn? Why is there this double standard between these 2 posts? Alright, I know that there are other double standards, but that's not the point. Since nearly all of the women on the other post posted anonymously, I have no idea if some of you changed your tunes when asked the other question, but I suspect that you are NOT the ones who have posted on the other question. What do you ladies think?

 I think Maddierose had a good idea... perhaps he was a little defensive of his masculinity. I also think that maybe your boyfriend was just really shocked to SEE a woman watching porn, as most men only THINK that it's a guy thing. I think your boyfriend was just surprised.
It is SO SO SO SO SO okay for women to watch porn. Porn is for everyone!! It is no big deal that you were watching porn. Tons of women watch porn (including me), so you are totally normal and more than fine.

 Hi i dont see a problem with watching porn on your own why should it just be men that can, ask him why its a problem its not like your going out and doing it its on a screen so theres no harm as far as am concerned so if i was you i would carry on if it makes you happy when hes not around, so you go for it your not doing anything wrong!

 hi there, maddie is quite right, i watch porn alone and with hubbie, he doesnt have a prob at all but alot of people are brought up to believe women should be ashamed of and hide there sexual feelings, i think your boyfriend is inhibited, trying to be understanding of this id say explain to him thats its just a material and its nothing like a relationship and time you spend with him, but the feminest side of me says, how do men react when women object to them viewing porn alone.

 okay i may be young but hear me out. i think your boyfriend might have over reacted becasue men are so defensive about their masculinity and the thought that you were being turned on by someone that wasn't would have made him jeleous in a way if you get me. there is nothing wrong with girls watching porn on their own! sure I'm young so i wouldn't know but I know 1 thing, men and woman should be equal and if a woman would like to watch porn on her own, she can just as a man would.
I know you may think I don't know what Im talking about because I am young but I hope my advice was a little helpful.
