writes: I was in prison for 4 years and had a pen-pal that was also in prison, we lost contact about halfway through my time. We both went to a transitional center (a place you get a job and re-enter society) I got out before he did and kept the job I had gotten while at the center. I was on lunch one day and went to get something to eat and he recognized me. He still has every picture and letter I sent him. I cared a lot about him when we were writing and now that were actually together I am in love with him. Do you think God put us together or am I just going to get hurt?

KittyKat1108 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThank you very much for your responses, I feel the same but I wanted to make sure it's not just because it's whats I want that I'm thinking that way. I don't doubt him and I do trust him, something that has been hard for me to do with other people I've dated. He hasn't hurt anyone in his past that I know of but I know he has been hurt. I'm just a little scared because I've never felt like this with anyone else.

 When you say that perhaps you are being set up to get hurt, why do you say that? Have you been hurt before in a similar situation? Has he hurt other people he loved?
Or are you just scared of committing to him?
I think that it does sound a bit like fate but at the end of the day you need to do what you are comfortable and happy with.
If you have serious doubts about the relationship, consider those doubts and act accordingly.
If you just have some nerves and butterflies, perhaps you need to just take a risk and try it.

 no i think this sounds like love n if hes still got all your pics and letters it shows he loves u as much as u love him as well, u both care about eachova y sit and worry about the future have fun and make it last now!
