I dont want to keep thinking this way! Is it going to ruin our friendship? So a couple of weeks ago I asked a guy if he would every want to be more than friends and he said 'I dont know' so we decided to stay friends. We are texting right now and I said 'sorry if I made things uncomfortable for asking this question' and he said 'why' and I said 'because I want us to stay friends and glad we are friends' and he said 'me too.' but before all this I said 'well you probably have to go so I will say goodbye' and he said 'do you want me to go?' and I said 'no' he said 'okay well I dont have to'

So what I guess I am asking is why do I keep thinking I have more of a chance with him and that he likes me back when he doesnt like me more than a friend?

It hurts because I have never liked a guy so much and I cant figure out what to do about these feelings with him not liking me back, I cant stop crying.

I have been having the same problem with this girl. we are really good friends and she always hangs out with me so I thought she liked me but she turned me down but we are still good friends. I plan on asking her back out about january as long as she isnt going out with anyone else. I guess just hang around him, communicate with him, and that kind of stuff and he might come around to liking you. I dont know how that works but that's my logic.
