I asked this question before but I think I need to go into more detail. I met this guy online about a year ago and we have talked every day since then, I really like him a lot but he lives in a diffrent state. We have never met in person and I'm super happy when we talk but whenever I'm not talking to him I'm thinking about him and it makes me kind of depressed and I don't know why or at least I think I'm depressed. My friends and family noticed it and I'm not sure if it's him or something else but I really need some help on what I should do. I really don't want to stop talking to him but if it's making me depressed then should I? Please help me out.

Why has neither of you suggested meeting up I wonder. Some people do, over long distances. Ask him what he wants out of this.

I must admit I did this and got very disappointed as he didn't want to meet, but at least I know where I am now and can choose whether to move on.

I just ended a one year relationship for the same reason (among others) It's difficult to sustain a LDR! The waiting for phone calls and emails...and in between is even worse. The thinking and planning, and thinking and planning! Plans that fall through are the worst! It takes two very strong people to keep it going. And if by chance you both become depressed at the same time...forget it!

Anyway to answer you honestly...yes it could cause you to be depressed!
