Said guy and I were introduced by my very overprotective cousin at an event and guy asked my cousin for my number. Have seen guy a few times since and he's come on strong but hasn't called or text. My cousin says it's bc the band is busy. But it's been a week and a half now since he's gotten my number so I don't know what's up here. Should I be patient or chalk it up to a loss?

 I suspect your cousin is controlling it somewhere. If a guy really likes a girl, no matter how busy he is he would make 5 minutes to call.
