Hi All

I had my first date with a guy i met online today. We had been chatting for over a month, texting and talking on the phone.

I was really nervous, but we spent about 5 hours together, had a few drinks and lunch and managed to not have any awkward silences. I have quite low self esteem so I couldnt possibly see how he found me attractive, and keep thinking he was just being polite. He always maintained eye contact, smiled and kept the conversation going, and we had a laugh over a few double meaning flirty statements.

We had a brief kiss at the end of the day (not a proper kiss just a few pecks on the lips and a hug). When I got home he text me asking If i was home yet, and then more texts, then he said he had a good time. I replied that i did too, and did he fancy meeting up again, and he said yes.

So it all sounds promising, but I keep thinkin he is just being polite? What is wrong with me.

What do you guys think, I appreciate your views on this. Ta

Hey, Thanks for your reply. I suppose you are right, he text me first, so thats a good sign. I am trying not to appear too eager, but I dont want to play games either. I was thinking about texting him this morning, but decided to let him come to me. I just dont want to get hurt, as I do like him, so I dont want to chase for it all to be in my mind, if you know what i mean. I really hope he initiates a second date. Thanks again, your reply was really helpful

YouWish agony auntYour clue was his IMMEDIATE text to you. Also, it was more than one kiss (peck). He wanted to be sucking your face off. He likes you.
