My boyfriend likes all pubic hair completely shaved/waxed and he can't stand even a tiny of bit of facial hair. I do wax but obviously in between waxes some hairs do grow back (I'm talking about my face here). Is this the norm or is he in the minority? Regarding pubic hair, do most men prefer the hollywood, the brazilian, just a tidy up/bikini wax, or the full amount. And how hung up are most guys about facial hair (as I said I do wax and I am not overly hairy but sometimes I have to pluck any hairs that have grown back on my upper lip and the hairs there are fine and fair).

I think you need to do what you are comfortable with. And your boyfriend should accept and love you no matter what. I am sure there are moments perhaps he doesnt shave and has some stubble, or perhaps be unkept in some way or the other at times yet you would accept and love him all the same I am sure. Perhaps you should point those instances out to him and show him how unreasonable he is being and how it affects you.

Male preferences vary on these sort of things, but generally speaking from most guys I know seem to prefer full or most waxed off.

Good luck x

duskyrowe agony auntWhy are you shaving and waxing your pubic and facial hair just to please him for? What you do with your body is entirely up to you not him.

Next time he makes you wax your pubes, tell him to pay for it out of his own pocket and put his money where is big fat mouth is. Nuff said Dusky xxx

I have had a gf who also, in between waxes, gets a little bit of regrowth on her upper lip, and of course regrowth down below (pubic) hair.

I, like your bf, like everywhere to be smooth, clean, non hairy. But I don't hassle my gf about it. I turn it more into a joke, laugh at her and say she has a better mustache than me, etc. and it makes her a bit awkward, but she gets it done quickly after the joking. I find its the best way. But I never made her feel bad, or whatever.

Your bf needs to understand that its a normal process, it cant be silky smooth ALL the time. Things need to grow back a bit if they are to be waxed off again.

I think being hairless is the norm - but a bloke being obsessive about it etc. is not fair. At the end of the day, its your body. If you have a good maintenance routine, well, he is just going to have to accept it!

Stay silky smooth - at your own pace!

Collaroy agony auntHi,

it sounds like he is a bit obsessive - the facial hair thing is the big indicator here in my opinion. I imagine you hardly look like the lady with the beard at the local circus, so what's his deal?

As for pubic hair, while I prefer a bit of trimming I would have a full bush over the Brazillian any day. I find a fully shaven vagina quite off putting actually .
