reader, anonymous, writes (2 March 2010): Ask 'what's up?', 'how are you?', 'what did you do in the weekend?'. She might mention something she's interested in, then ask her questions about that. So talk about what she's passionate about. You can talk about what you're passionate about at some point when she asks. Girls like a guy who's passionate about something.
If she doesn't like you, 'oh well'. Let it go. Girls like that attitude too. For everything you don't like about yourself, or what others don't like about you, 'oh well whatever', and be happy. It's the essence of being a 'bad boy'. Not giving a crap. Just have a heart to go along with that attitude :)

 Sounds to me like you are not in love but have a massive crush on her. How can you know you love someone if you've never even had a conversation with them, let alone not knowing their name? Just take it one step at a time. I understand this kind of situation myself...I've had A LOT of crushes that went no where because I was too afraid to even talk to them. Don't psych yourself out. After all, you're not very old...And I'm sorry to say that once you do talk to this girl, if you even end up in a relationship, it won't be a life long thing. But to answer your question, just talk to her. You don't need to try to impress her or anything. Just have a casual conversation. Don't try too hard.
