 I don't mean to sound patronizing, I do remember what it is like to be young and to be discovering one's sexuality, but this is a schoolgirl crush. You are in love not with this man himself, but with your idea of him. Think about this: what do you actually KNOW about this man's private life, his outlook on life, his interests, his plans for the future, etc.? My guess is, nothing. But knowing these things about someone are a crucial part of falling in love with them and building a relationship based on love and mutual respect.
Approach the people around you (your own age group) with an open mind. Seek out groups of people who share your ideas, your dreams, your problems. If you cannot find such people at school, think about joining a sports club, a book club or any other kind of club that suits your interests. If you do this, I am sure you will meet a nice guy who is at the same stage in life as you are and who you can fall in love with, rather than just develop a crush on.
