Emaz help agony auntYou have to be on the pill for 7 days for it to work, just to clear that up. It's not effective straight away because it takes a while for it to get into your system properly. I don't trust condoms at all as i've had many experiences where they have came off and of course then you're worrying all month until your period. I understand why you might not want to go on the pill but it is the best bet as well as using condoms trust me. And plus the side effects of the pill really aren't that bad.

I disagree with lola29, It does not take a couple weeks for the pill to kick in, it only takes a couple hours from the first pill you take as soon as you take it. I am on the pill and it works shortly after taking it although you want to make sure you take it every day...Taking the pill: either you take it on day 1 on your period or take it on sunday.

Good luck this should definetely help and good luck!

get on the pill, but for it to work, u must be on it for a couple weeks, using condoms is the safest way too but it seems its ur first time, best way is to make sure ur bf knows how to put a condom on properly, if you think that u might fall pregnant if u dont trust the condom then u can take an emergency after pill at the pharmacy.

goodluck

I really would consider going on the pill as well. If the condom splits, which can happen, then you might get pregnant. The best way is to use condoms and to go on the pill.
