hey, im 17 and my exboyfriend asked me how you tell someone you no longer want to go to prom with them. he then told me he wanted to ask me instead. we broke up several months ago. im not sure if hes asking me as his last resort but he is very attractive and any girl would kill to go with him. im unsure if i should say yes. he wasnt extremly nice to me in the past, he didnt call me on holidays and he thought i cheated on him and i didnt also i felt there was a lack of conversations and poor communication. im really unsure if i should go to his prom... help please!?

mcbirdie agony auntIf you have so little good to say about him, I'm not sure why you would consider going at all. If you are attracted to him and want to go, then go for it. But you are not required to go just because he asked and really...if he was not very nice to you before and there was conflict in your relationship, why would you?

Go if it is just going to be a bit of fun. But if you are already feeling this conflicted over it, I would say that it doesn't seem worth the hassle.
