I'm really worrying in case I'm pregnant...

On valentines day, the condom split, so next day I took the morning after pill. As far as I was aware, everything went fine.

A few days later, he ejaculated, but there didn't seem to be anything in the end of the condom.. We checked in case there was a hole or split, but didn't find one. I tried not to worry.

But yesterday (the 20th) my vagina was itchy and a little painful around the hole, and I started a brown/thick period.. I'm not due my period until the 6th of next month.

I'm really stressing out, could I be pregnant?? Thank you if you have any advice or help! It would be muchly appreciated.

The spotting is most likely an after effect of the morning after pill. Condoms are very effective and it is unlikely you are pregnant. The itchiness sounds like thrush, which can be caused or exacerbated by the MA pill. It takes a while for your body to regain its balance after the MA pill, so try not to worry. If things aren't back to normal within a couple of weeks then take a couple of pregnancy tests just to make sure. Good luck :)

starfairy agony auntIt doesn't sound likely that you are pregnant, but do a couple of pregnancy tests, just to check and most importantly to put your mind at ease.

You might have thrush, that could explain the itching. Or you could have an STD? Check it out with the doctor.

As for the spotting, stress can play havoc with your body, or sometimes if you have just come off the pill/injection, your periods are messed up.

There are so many possible explanations :o)
