writes:I feel a bit stupid for asking this question..but here goes.Is there any possible way that you can get pregnant from swallowing a man's semen when he ejaculates? I've given my boyfriend a blowjob a few times and swallowed everytime. I'm on the pill, but i can't help worrying that i could be pregnant by doing this, even though i have no symptoms of being pregnant.Can anyone please help? I'm out of my mind with worry!

Look up more info online and find out all the details of how things work. Getting the right info can make you feel much more comfortable with everything because you'll know what you're doing and what can come of it.
And no, you can't get pregnant from oral sex. But you can get STD's so just be careful. And of course, have fun. :)

 There is absolutely no risk of pregnancy from oral sex - not even semen can withstand the hydrochloric acid that is in your stomach to breakdown food. Conception requires sperm to meet one of your eggs which are released from your ovaries each month and pregnancy requires that a fertilised egg is accepted in the lining of the womb so that it can develop. However, most contraceptive pills work by trying to prevent the eggs being released, thickening the mucus at the cervix and making the lining of your womb thinner making implantation of a fertilised egg less likely. The pill is not 100% effective however and does not protect against STD's.Just so you know - it is entirely possible to catch a range of STD's from oral sex too...herpes and HIV to mention a few.
