A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Im a mature 16 yr old girl. i regularly go in my local pub with my friends as they are all 18 or over. over the last yr i have met a guy who is 23. the thing is i look older so i told him i am 18. he is a really nice guy and i think im falling for him even though the closest weve got is buying each other a drink and told our names. he always looks at me in a cute way like a connection between us that nobody knows. i always look forward to seeing him on a weekend...although recently i seen him in our local with a woman who seems to be upper class, which means she looks very intelligent and seems to have a good job. he looked at me in a dissapointed way while she was all over him. would i be good enough for him or should i not bother competing as im only young? i know theres chemistry between us he looked bored with her! any advice xx

kenny agony auntI agree with CD, the issue here is that you have lied about your age in the first place, you should have been upfront and let him make up his own mind about you. Tell him the truth before it goes any further, and remember honesty is the best policy.

All the best of luck x

cd206 agony auntYour biggest problem with this guy isn't your age, it's the fact that you lied to him about your age. Try telling him the truth and see if he's still interested. That's your test.
