Ok so I am a 16 year old girl and I am dating this awesome guy, and I have a problem. I love him 2 death but some stuff about him just creeps me out.

Like the fact that he's really REALLY hairy. And for some reason hair really grosses me out. I mean I am not completely unreasonable, I can deal with leg hair and armpit hair, I understand that that's a guy thing so i can get over that, but facial hair, happy trails, chest hair and stuff like that are soooooooo gross to me. No matter how hot you are I can never get used to it.

Now my bf does know I hate facial hair cause I did make it obvious at one point if he ever had any I would not kiss him until it was gone, but I don't have the heart to tell him I hate chest hair. I think he is really self concious about it as is, based on the fact that I have never seen him without a shirt on for more than a few seconds, I know it would kill him if I Said anything. And when I did see him without a shirt on I wasn't wearing my glasses so I could barely see him from how far away he was but I could see that he not only had a happy trail thing or whatever but it also went all the way up to the top of his chest, now as I said before I wasnt wearing my glasses and he was far away so I couldn't see if he had hair anywhere else on his chest but still.

But not only does the chest hair bother me I feel like sometimes his eyebrows are really bushy. Like fuzzy lil caterpillars. And I think he does plum em a lil some times cause they are not always like that but when they are it's gross.

Along with the hair issues he sometimes doesn't have the best, how should I put this, health care? Like sometimes his teeth aren't clean and I can tell and it makes me not want to kiss him.

Oh! But the worst thing is when he has really bad dandruff. It's gross. I mean I know it's not his fault but they have shampoos 4 that and his family is by no means poor so I know they can afford it. I feel bad for him about the dandruff sometimes cause his friends see it and they poke fun at him a little in a playful way for it. Sometimes its really embrassing to the point I don't want to hold his hand around other ppl cause I think they'll see it and think I am gross too. I try not to care what other ppl think, but let's be honest here, that's impossible. Every1 cares what others think.

Sooo what should I do? I am so conflicted... Should I tell my bf about the lil issuses I have? Or keep quiet? Or maybe ask 1 of his friends 3 tell him to fix it? Anything helps, so thanks :)

Then honey that’s not love….

I don’t like back hair… thankfully my partner does not have back hair… but if he did I’d have him wax it… have you asked your boyfriend to groom better?

You should tell him these things bother you. If you let them fester then you will grow more and more resentful. He may change he may not… personally for me lack of grooming is a big problem and one of the issues I Had with my ex.
