A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

recently my boyfriend has gone away to university. Its local but i can only get there by catching the train with is a 30 minuite journey. visiting can only be and weekends and texting and calls is at a minimum.

I've been with him now for 3 1/2 years and have seen him daliy as we were at school together. Im finding it difficult to get used to him not being around and i am finding i keep becoming emotional randomly will find i difficult to breath when trying to avoid crying.

How can i try to control my emotions as they are getting in the way of my life and i feel if it carries on im not going to cope for the next year.

Well I'm happy to say that your advice helped after the first month we got into a routine which really helped. So even when he went back after Christmas (he had a month off) I was able to cope 10 times better than when he first went. It's even made our relationship stronger =) thanks again
