If both of you are emotionally ready to go to the next level then talk about your fears. If you care about her and she cares about you (which it sounds like you do!) then doing this together will be easy, being together and enjoying the experience is the main thing. Above all though be prepared and use protection, you say you have come close to sex twice before, when you are ready it will happen, go with the flow and you'll get better with practise ;)
