I'm a male whos just turned 17. I'm 5 foot 6" tall, but i've never had a growth spurt, and i dont seem to be growing much, if at all. Does this mean i have stopped growing, or i'm growing slowly?

eyeswideopen agony auntI had a guy friend who graduated from high school with me and he was about 5'8" tall when we graduated. We went off to different colleges and I saw him the following summer and he was 6ft. Lost track but saw him at a class reunion about 10 years later and he was 6'3". What is the average height in your family?

It's all in genetics; although the average male grows until he is about 21 years old. Females, 18.

If your father was taller, chances are you will be even taller than he.

If your mum was shorter, much shorter...you might grow another inch or two and that's about it. It just depends.

My dad is 6ft 1 inch and my mum is 5ft even...I ended up being 5ft 3inches...my two brothers are 5ft 7inches and 5ft 5inches...in between them both.

You are average, so no worries!

Well I think you stop growing at 21, so you'll probably be constantly growing slowly. However, my dad is 5 foot 7" and he doesnt look small or anything, so I think you're about average height honey. But yeah, you'll probably grow slowly a little longer, and then you'll be done :]
