reader, anonymous, writes (21 September 2007): Hi, everyone develops at different times and at different rates.Try not to worry about it too much, your time will come. If you are anything like the boys in my family once your growing starts its like a huge spurt and everything happens at once. My cousin is 17, 6ft 3" and his voice broke after he grew - and he well overtook me I am 21 and only 5ft 3".

 don't worry, every single person is different.alot of my friends (some male) were around 13/14 but i then there were a couple who hadn't started before we left school. i was 10, like is said everybody has different starting age.maybe talk to your dad, if you can, because i was the same age as my mum, and so maybe he was a late starter, if there such a thing.it is completely normal and it will come eventually.
