Why not ask your parents if the guy you like can come over to have dinner with your family? The better they get to know him the more comfortable they will be with you spending time with him. The number one thing is to stop whining and nagging your parents about this, because that never works.You could try saying to them "I know you do not want me to date and I accept that, but I would like to be able to be with my friends even if we have to go out in groups or be chaperoned." Saying something mature like that will start your parents on the road to thinking of you as a grown-up rather than a kid.
