 Males are not females with different parts. They have feelings and thoughts, just as we do, but they process them differently. Your definition of love is not his, and vice versa. To make everything just a little more complicated (because Lord knows it's not complicated enough), each individual loves differently.
On the whole, guys just aren't as chatty as us females. Their brains are wired differently. We bond with family, freinds, lovers, etc through communication. Males do it through 'doing things' together. So, he probably doesn't even see your calling him as 'loving', and here you are, you poor thing, you just can't get enough of talking to him.
Tell him how you feel. Accept what he says about how he feels, even if it sounds foreign. If you start having funny, untrusting feelings, than you'll need to discuss that with him. But try to accept that he's not going to communicate his feelings to you the way you do, to him.

 i think that if he is your bf then you should be able 2 talk 2 him face 2 face and tell him how u feel..but yea he still loves you..if he didnt he wouldnt call you..i think he only calls when you dont bcuz since u always call him first he is use 2 it and always is expecting it..so when u dont call he prolly thinks something is wrong or u mad @ him or something so he jus calls u first

 He still loves you as much as you do. Like when I first got my new email, I emailed my cousin whos in collage like every day. THen he emailed me saying please not to email him every day. So maybe he doesn't feel like it. I mean don't you ever get to see him in person? But just because he doesn't call you every single day doesn't mean he doesn't like you. Trust me, he still probly loves you.
