If there's no connection, like he said, why is he so sweet and kind when he's with me?

Tying to figure out if this man really actually likes me or not.

I'm in my late twenties and this guy I like is in his early fourties. We work together and he is a very awkward and shy person. At a company get party I got buzzed and told him how I've had a crush on him.

We went out had lunch, went on a date, he told me that he didn't feel a connection and that he was very flattered that I was interested in him. Since then we've hung out 5 times (most times me asking him to hang out).

I've slept at his house several times and we've the best sex. Every time he has been so sweet and has gone out of the way, no wearing the tighty whites I made fun of and cleaning his house, making me breakfast etc. paying for dinner etc, buying things cause I said I liked them.

It seems like he actually likes me, I don't know if he was just nervous before when he said he felt like we didn't have a connection, none of my friends know what to make of all this.

Like I said he's shy and awkward so it's hard to tell but why be so nice to me if he didn't truly actually like me? And it's very hard for him to talk about relationship stuff...

If this man is having sex with you then there must be some sort of a connection or he wouldnt be able to..you need to put a stop on just being this person he uses to feel good about himself and to satify his sexual needs give a wideberth and see what happens when he sees what it is like to be without you.
