If he's sincere then why doesn't he ask me out for a date? Possibly afraid of rejection or what?

A female , anonymous writes:

May I know if a guy kept sending love signals to a girl yet the girl didn't respond much in return will the guy feel dishearten, it happens more than a year already till now, is this guy sincere but how come he don't dare to ask the girl out for a date?

Is he afraid of rejection, he does have a few on-line female friends eg. MSN. I doubt he is inexperience in handling girls.

Thank you

AngelofLove agony auntAssuming you are both single, perhaps he is a player and see you as a challenge, perhaps it is fun for him to mess with your mind. Unfortunately, there are still a few natural flirts left, that just want to have a laugh and are not ready to commit to one person.

Or he has been hurt in the past and he not quite sure if you return his feelings the same way, he is being cautious.

Either way, you need to call his bluff and ask him why he is giving you these signals.

If you know this guy for about a year, hopefully you will know which game he is playing if any.

Get to know him better and take it slow until you are sure.

Good luck xxx
