writes:If a man keeps talking to your mom dose that signal that he is interested? Hi my mom and I go to this resturant all the time and I can't tell if this guy is interested in me. He seemed to have be a little flirty but now every time we go in he talks to my mom and not so much to me. I told my mom I think he is interested in you! She laughed and said I think he is trying to win my approval. Is this true do men if they like someone talk to the mom and almost ignore the girl? He even waited untill I got up and went to the restroom and told my mom what days he will be working because he switched to partime at that job. I'm confused! Why dose he talk to my mom so much and not me? Oh men I don't understand them If he dose not ask me out the next time we go in there I'll kick em! Haha

 If he is around YOUR age, Then he is just being nice to your mom as a customer. That is what waiters do to get their tips.

 Well, if he works in a restaurant and your mom is the one footing the bill and handing out the tips, it would make sense he's just doing what every good waiter does, right? I'm sure if you were the one always paying, he'd be talking to you!

It is hard to say at the moment. He may talk to mom as a way of showing what a great guy he could be to you. His shyness towards you can be that he likes you. However, he may fancy mom! Also, be aware that he may just be being friendly with customers and you are both pleasant for him to talk to while he is working.
Could you try to see if mom could go to the washroom when he is close and see if he eyes her bottom or legs, or if he carries on the chat with his eyes on you;) Best wishes, G xx

But like I said he keeps talking to mom about his job and family and seems shy around me now or perhaps not interested. But if he is not interested why dose he keep talking to mom? And sitting across from me and stoping at our table all the time . We tip people fair.Hey maybe your right and he likes older women. I dont know but thanks for your input.

How old is this guy? If he is around your mom's age, then perhaps he is interested in her. OR maybe she is a decent tipper, and he wants to make sure that she keeps coming back when he is working.
