writes:HiOn Friday last week I asked a girl to the cinema via msn. She was really hinting before. I told her mate I liked her and when I said to her I shouldn't of told her I feel like an idiot she replied that I shouldve done it. Then after that I Said "so if you don't mind me asking what are you going to do about andy" (after she said her mate asked her) she said depends what e wants to do. About me. Well She said yes and In the week she said a rumor about us was going round that we were going out. I was really confused then she started saying that we never went out when I clearly asked and she said yes. I was so angry and sad that she didn't understand I asked her out. I really like her but can't ask her out I will look like an idiot. What should I do?

 You asked her out on a date, not to be her boyfriend. This is where the confusion has happened. Talk to her on msn, about it and if you guys do sort something out make sure you know exactly what before telling all your mates you are getting married to her!
