writes:I've been getting on really well with a young lady for a while now when I see her at her workplace everyday behind a counter and I was contemplating asking her out today when I realised that she was pregnant when she was filling some shelves.This is heartbreaking as I thought she was the one.Any suggestions would be grateful

 We've all been there, so we can give you the same old advice: move on. I understand the heartbreak, and I'm in the same age group as you, so I (think I) understand you better; but obviously her mind is somewhere else. You cannot win here.
