A reader, anonymous, writes (25 May 2008):

Dr. John is right.

It seems as though you like each other and you're very close. If you don't make a move then you could regret it for a long time.

When you are saying good bye give her a kiss on the cheek, but hold it for a few seconds and close your eyes. The look at her straight in the eye and see how she reacts. If she kisses you quickly in return and then turns away then you will know that there is less chemestry there for her than there is for you.

But

If she feels the same for you she will either:

- Kiss you on the cheek slowly back. Whilst she is doing this then it will be a great opportunity for you to gently lean your face more directly towards hers, if this happens then you should find yourself kissing her on the lips.

or

- She maybe stunned and not know herself wether to make a move or not. She could just end up starring at you for a while wondering if you are going to kiss her or if she should kiss you. If this happens then you could move slightly forward and see if she does the same or if she moves away.

If she moves away then hug her good bye in a friendly fashion and tell her you'll see her soon.

Good Luck. X

Let me know what happens :D

A male reader, Dr. John United States +, writes (25 May 2008):

Dr. John agony auntYou may be making a mistake by holding back yourself.

In the right moment, kiss her tenderly then watch her reaction. If she shows signs of withdrawing from you simply appologize and tell her you couldn't help yourself but that it won't happen again.

If she likes it I am sure you will know it at that time.

Go from there. Give it a try. ;-) Doc
