I want my ex's friend, should I go for it?

I split up with my boyfriend 3 weeks ago im 19 n so was he, we were together 3 years loved each other so much but just didnt get on! any way his best friend who he has been friens with his whole life came on to me a few times but i didnt say nothing 2 my ex coz it wud kill him. he was always txin me wen me n my ex were together sayin he loved me n i shud b with him not my ex! i alway new there was chemistry between us though....now wev split up hes on to me again wantin to take me out n that,,,,, but i do really like him,,, my ex has got a new gf now! would it b wrong 4 me n his best mate to meet?

I think you should go for it! Life is short and your ex is in a new relationship. What do you have to lose? If they are true friends this should not change anything between them.

soletshearit agony auntWell if there is chemistry its a natural thing and it can't be helped, my advise would be to meet with this guy to talk. As your ex's friend he needs to go to his ex and say it to him and tell him that he really likes her and that he wants to take her out. If he has a new gf more than likely its rebound as yiz only split up from a long enough relationship 3weeks ago! You don't want to step on your ex's toes and the last thing oyu want is to get yourself a bad name for hopping between friends or splitting friends up! You are young and there are plenty of other fella's out there!!! If you really feel you wanna go for it then please plesae tell the new guy he needs to talk to the old guy and take it slow because its prob gonna hurt him! Keep me posted!
