I recently started dating a guy also named Chris (not intentional). Its fun and we get along well; especially sexually. However I've realized that I call out his name a lot during the act and sometimes I flash and think about my best friend. This has never happened before and now that it has I have no idea what to do. I'm going crazy wondering if it's just the name or do i want to have sex with my best friend. I know I love him but am I in love with him. Also I feel guilty is this some kind of cheating. I know i wouldn't like the guy I'm with to be thinking about another girl. But, I'm not doing it on purpose... I am so confused.

 you are not in control of your subconcious so don't fret over it. I bet if you ever did have a fling with Chris he would be a dissappointment so han in there with the one you have now and go ahead with the fantasy if it works to help get you off.

If you see a story on the news about a guy called Chris who was killed/is a killer/is missing etc. Your best friend is the first thing that pops into your head. Doesn't mean you think he's a killer.
OP simple solution, stop saying his name during sex and he won't pop up into your head and if you loved him in any way romantically then you'd know well before now in the 15 years you've known him.
Just stop saying that name.
My wife and I were role playing before and asked her to call me Daddy, you know like a 70's porn movie, but it creeped her out a bit too much because her father would pop into her head.
I mean if you said your family pet's name during sex you'd surely think about that too wouldn't you? Doesn't mean you want to have sex with it.
