A male , anonymous writes:

Im nearly 16 soon, but all of a sudden, I have a feeling, and this might be big headed, that I will be famous, and rich. But where does this come from? And is it just a crazy fantasy or might it happen? Im confused, because when I have asked friends, they have said they believe I will be. But i dont even know what i want to be yet!

Everyone faces the same number of failures- if you are self confident enough to shrug off the failure and keep going you will be sucessful.

Just dont let it become delusional.

Bev Conolly agony auntFrom my perspective, it's both a crazy fantasy *and* it might happen. After all, the only people who succeed in their lives are the ones who work hard at success! If you already feel that you're destined for big things, then you're a step ahead!

:)

Don't try to lock yourself into what you want to "be" too soon in your life. Sometimes a person discovers their lifelong passion much later than they expect to. Make sure that you get the very best education you can possibly achieve; it will expand your options in life and help you to recognise opportunities when they come along. I don't necessarily mean that you have to go to uni (though that's also an excellent base), but that you should be open to new experiences, new cultures and new questions. Get involved in community events and you'll soon make a name for yourself.

There's nothing wrong with being self-confident, so continue to build on your strengths. Good luck!

harshbutfair agony auntI actually think this is pretty cool. By your age most people have had their confidence, dreams and ambitions crushed by a combination of parents, siblings, teachers and peers. Good on you for thinking big. I say, go for gold. Good luck!
