A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

okay well i am 13.

i been told i need to chill and that i have anger issues..

i dont get mad easily but sometimes the simplest things you say would make me want to punch you in the face..

i was in my room and i was feeling perfectly normal and my mom came in to talk to me and all of a sudden i flipped out on her and started yelling..

sometimes i start feeling nervous and my palms get very very sweaty for no reason and my stomach just feels weird..

and sometimes i tend to clench my teeth alot..

and i just break down and cry constantly for no reason..

i tend to always yell scream and have sweaty palms and feet and i tend to be very mad for no reason..

in my family there is no fights or anything idk what is making me feel this way..

and im always nervous for no reason and i think negatively all the time and then i get even more stressed out and my body always feels like it at 100 degrees and i dont know why im the only one thats always hot for no reason..

am i depressed or do i have anger issues?

i can tell people around me are getting frustrated with my behaviour

A female reader, eyeswideopen United States +, writes (29 July 2009):

eyeswideopen agony auntI think that the only issue you may be suffering from is called puberty. Your body is going through some very drastic changes and hormones are surging and ebbing constantly. It is a very unsettling time in a person's life. I suggest you talk to your mom about how you are feeling and perhaps have a visit to the doctor to make sure things are on a normal course. It's not a permanent condition so don't stress about it. Talk to mom, she has been there and knows you best.
